Prayers have an effect on us. Each time I prayer, it reminds me that we live in a loving universe, and that a Divine Spark glows within my soul. Saying a prayer can be like picking up the telephone and communicating with God; it can be like plugging into infinite wisdom. It can be a source of strength, comfort, and inspiration.
Saints were in direct contact with God and, at times, also they displayed powers of dramatic healing and other miracles. When we imitate their spiritual lives generally, we believe in becoming better persons. Lives of Saints convey inspiring messages that uplift the souls in any situation that one is facing, consoles the heart and also puts a smile on someone’s lips.
Gospel music revels the beauty of the sacrifice of God’s great love through His Crucified Son, laid behind a stone, lived to die, rejected and alone, like a rose trampled on the ground, Jesus took the fall and thought of you and me, above all other creation.
